Community Impact
We are committed to sharing the abundance from the land, created through the time and talents of our collective members, with community organizations fighting food insecurity.

Shared Abundance
In 2024, we partnered with Kennett Area Community Services, Free Food for All, and People’s Kitchen to distribute fresh, nutritious, locally grown food to our neighbors in need. The collective is proud to have harvested and shared an estimated total of over 3,000 pounds of food in addition to the abundance our members enjoyed.

Land Stewardship
In 2024, we added 21 trees to our food forest, which now includes at least fifteen species of food bearing trees and shrubs, alongside native perennial flowers, accumulator plants, and medicinal plants. Additionally, this year marked the establishment of a new natural dye garden, providing 10 species of dye plants to the community.

Collaborative Learning
Through a generous capacity building grant from Chester County Community Foundation we were able to produce 19 instructional videos, including four videos on food preparation and preservation in collaboration with Free Food for All.
